Here is a simple step-by-step guide on how to easily replace the waste toner container.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Remove the new waste toner container from its packaging and place it on a flat surface next to the machine.
  2. Make sure the device is no longer copying or printing.
  3. Open the front door of the unit.

  1. Grasp the old (full) waste toner container by the orange handle and carefully pull it out of the printer. (Figure 2)
  2. Place the full waste toner container in the enclosed bag and store it in the empty box that came with the new waste toner container.

  1. Insert the new (empty) waste toner container into the machine as far as it will go.
  2. Close the front door. If the front door is not closed properly, a message to that effect will appear, and the appliance will not be ready for use.
