The Xerox DC2xx/5xx/C60/C70 transfer belt is a high-quality replacement part for Xerox multifunction printers. In a Xerox multifunction printer (MFP), „IBT“ typically stands for „Intermediate Belt Transfer,“ which means „Zwischenbandübertragung“ in German. The IBT system in a Xerox multifunction printer is an essential component of the printing process, especially for color printing. The Intermediate Belt Transfer (IBT) is a flexible, moving belt located beneath the transport drum on the transfer belt unit. The image is transferred from the drum to the IBT as the toner passes electrostatically from the drum image to the IBT.
Please note that special knowledge is required to replace the transfer belt.
